Middle-East The region that lies west of southern Asia and to east to Europe. A gateway to Asia,Europe and Africa. A place which could have been a Geo-economic hot- spot, today is home to numerous wars. With humongous oil deposits this is just not a intersection for most of world but also one place on earth where any human would want to reign. With high amount of resources this region has become a victim to Geo-politics. Pre WWII In earl 1910s most of middle east countries had found huge oil deposits in their territory, most of the region was under the rule of the British empire and the ottoman empire. As both the world wars came to end the world had progressed a lot, The region had now mostly gained independence from the British empire and the ottoman empire. Persia (modern day Iran) was the first to find oil deposits in 1904 later followed by Saudi Arabia in 1938 and by late 1945 oil had been found in most of these countries.
